Financial Aid Overview
The Financial Aid Office is responsible for administering and coordinating aid funds from federal, state and campus based programs. The primary goal of the Financial Aid Office is to provide financial assistance to applicants who would otherwise be unable to afford a college education.
To apply for financial aid, students must first complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You must list Richard J. Daley College as one of your schools of choice. Our school code is 001649.
The following documents are required when visiting the Financial Aid Office for FAFSA application assistance:
- Proof of Citizenship or U.S. entry status (acceptable documents for proof of citizenship are birth certificate, voter's registration card, U.S. passport, permanent resident or resident alien card, or statement of Asylum Granted)
- Original Social Security card
- Signed Federal Tax Return from the prior year (form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ, and if married, that of the spouse, or if dependent upon parents, that of the parents), or a Public Aid Green Card, or Unemployment, Social Security or Veterans Benefits statement for the preceding year and the award year.
