Who needs Daley College Identification?
All Daley College students who take courses on the main campus or Arturo Velasquez Institute (AVI) must have a Daley College ID. All Daley College faculty and staff must also have an official college ID.

Where do I get my Daley College or AVI Identification Card?
Daley College
Photo identification cards can be obtained at the Daley College Security Desk located outside of Room 1114 from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm, Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

AVI
Photo identification cards can be obtained at the AVI Security Desk located outside of Room 1225 from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

How do I make sure my ID is validated?
Daley College
Each semester returning students, as well as faculty and staff must come to Room 1114 to get their I.D. updated with new validation stickers on the back of the ID card. New pictures are not required to receive your updated validation sticker.

AVI
Each semester returning students, as well as faculty and staff must come to Room 1225 to get their I.D. updated with new validation stickers on the back of the ID card. New pictures are not required to receive your updated validation sticker.

All students on both campuses must show their new study list to verify they are enrolled in the new semester.

Do I need to have my ID at all times?

  1. All faculty, staff and students must have their photo ID with them at all times on both campuses. Additionally, your Daley College ID must be available to Daley College and AVI officials when requested. The ID is the property of the City Colleges of Chicago.
  2. Student's identification cards must be presented to the librarian when books and other library materials are borrowed from the library. Additionally, the I.D. card must be presented when using all computer labs.
