Continuing Education

Message from Dean of Continuing Education
Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning are fast growing areas in education. Our student population is diverse and our role is constantly evolving and being re-defined. Daley College and Arturo Velasquez Institute's mission aims at helping individuals continue both their professional and personal development. It is a program of which I am proud and in which I take a great personal interest.

We continue to strive to meet and provide a wide variety of educational programs and enrichment courses to meet the needs of people of all ages from our surrounding communities, because we are part of these communities and we want to see them achieve success.

Mission Statement
In alignment with City Colleges of Chicago and Richard J. Daley College's mission statement: The Division of Continuing Education delivers exceptional learning opportunities for professional development and personal interest for diverse communities we serve. We enhance knowledge, understanding, skills, collaboration, community service and life-long learning by providing a broad range of quality, affordable courses, programs, and services.
